The site contains over 200 trees, of which more than 100 have tree preservation orders. The proposed scheme has been designed to recognise the sensitive nature of the existing environment and provide an exclusive gated development that retains the qualities of the existing hall and an adjacent cottage. Each new dwelling is unique and its orientation and aspect respond to its location on the site. Dwellings are grouped into four clusters, two of which benefit from views of the existing pond.
